Zeta Power Limited and Kara Finance Limited have partnered to provide installation and financing solutions for converting petrol- and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to compressed natural gas (CNG), the companies said in a joint statement.

Meanwhile, they said the initiative marks a significant step in Nigeria’s energy transition. It aims to ease the impact of fuel subsidy removal and reduce the cost of energy for households and businesses.

Zeta Power, a leading supplier and installer of CNG equipment in Nigeria, joined forces with Kara Finance to offer 100 per cent financing for qualified applicants seeking to switch to cleaner fuel systems. The announcement was made in Lagos at an event attended by senior executives from companies, industry stakeholders, and energy sector representatives.

In addition, the companies said the financing package includes flexible 12-month repayment terms, premium-quality CNG kits and systems backed by over 80 years of global technical support from Europe, America, and India, and on-site fuelling solutions at competitive prices.

Furthermore, Zeta Power Chairman and Chief Promoter of the CNG Revolution, Adewale Adedeji, said the partnership will make CNG adoption more accessible, drive energy cost reduction, and support environmental sustainability across Nigeria.

“We are proud to introduce this solution for Nigerians and businesses with vehicle fleets, power generators, and boats operating in inland waterways,” Adedeji said. “A new dawn in Nigeria has come, and we remain committed to providing cleaner, more affordable energy options.”

The companies also said the partnership would help reduce carbon emissions, strengthen Nigeria’s clean energy ecosystem, and support small businesses and transport operators struggling with rising fuel costs. They added that the initiative aligns with the government’s national gas expansion policy and energy transition goals.
