Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has signed an exclusive agreement with Premier Product Marketing LLC, a US-based field marketing company, to export its polypropylene products to markets outside Nigeria and Africa.
The company announced the partnership in a statement on Wednesday, May 21, highlighting that Premier Product, a subsidiary of Vinmar International LLC, will serve as its exclusive distributor. The move aligns with the recent launch of polypropylene production at Dangote’s refinery and petrochemical complex in Lekki, Lagos.
“Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE has entered into an exclusive partnership with Premier Product Marketing LLC, a Vinmar company, to bring ‘Dangote Polypropylene’ to global markets beyond Nigeria and Africa,” the company stated.
In addition, the refinery uses INEOS’s proven INNOVENE technology to produce high-quality polypropylene grades for diverse applications, including packaging, automotive, textiles, and construction.
Fatima Dangote, Group Executive Director (Commercial) at the Dangote Group, expressed confidence in the partnership. “We are excited to partner with Vinmar to introduce ‘Dangote Polypropylene’ to global markets,” she said. “Like our other products, this will become a global brand known for quality and reliability.”
Vishal Goradia, CEO of Vinmar Group, also shared his enthusiasm. “We are proud to expand our relationship with Dangote through this significant partnership.
