- Electricity Company of Ghana installs 400 transformers in Oti region.
- ECG has provided enough meters to replace faulty ones.
The Oti Regional Manager of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Mr Emmanuel Lumor, has disclosed that the power distribution company has installed 400 transformers to stabilize the electricity supply in the region.
Aside from the transformers, the manager also said ECG had taken measures to prevent the situation where the company’s poles get burnt annually.
Also, ECG has provided enough meters to replace faulty ones. These developments are the response of the Electricity Company of Ghana to the issues raised by residential customers in Oti region. Oti region residents further demanded ECG to provide them with certified electricians anytime their street lights develop faults.
